Julie, in general, if your plant is blooming size and you've been giving it good culture during its growing season, it should be capable of spiking once your outside temperatures start to drop in the Fall (cool Fall night temperatures and/or a large day/night temperature differential is frequently cited as the key to getting cymbidiums to bloom). You can also join the Int'l Cymbidium Alliance (
http://forums.delphiforums.com/n/mai...m1&nav=message), where you'll find lots of members who should be able to assist you (it is, as the name implies, a cymbidium-specific website). There's also a search function there that will allow you to review more information than you'll probably ever want to read. Good luck with your plant.
