Hi Des,
The color in this guy is outstanding!

I really appreciate you sharing this with us, as I can not bloom these guys where I live...it's just too hot.

Beautiful color. Thanks for the pic. Did you save all 25 seedlings? How about sending some across the pond? LOL

I sold some of them as mothers day presents ,at R100.00 each (about $10.00 US) Dont You wish that I could send them across the pond!!
once they have all flowered I will have the best of them cloned as they will be popular here as mothers day gifts

Khan Flame x Fairwall 'Dural' #2

What I find so interesting about this seedling is that Khan Flame is red, Fairwall "Dural is yellow .
Take a close look at how the orange "Look" is obtained by thousands of red dots on a yellow background. This can be quite clearly seen if you enlarge the photo. So it fools the eye into seeing it as orange!!

Cool colour. I like the way it's red on yellow and fools the eye like that. It's really stunning

The flask was bought at one of the Australian shows and had the prefix SH on it so I think it was Shenandoah orchids.. do you know them ?
