Default Another Costco NoID

got this one about 3 weeks ago - told myself I was NOT going to check out orchids while I was there! LOL
I'm glad I didn't listen to myself

Picked up this baby - one spike with mostly open blooms - another spike just starting to open - plus 3 (!) more spikes in bud still! $20! couldn't pass that up especially as I have been wanting some dark cyms - mine are all light colors.

It now has 3 spikes blooming with 2 more to go!

I love the color! It's dark, yet bright at the same time. And it looks like a very healthy and large plant, so I say that you got an awesome deal with this one! Me too, I always tell myself that I'll stay away from the orchids in any store I go to. Usually I go take a look anyways, and usually there is nothing that really makes me think "must have it!". But once in a while there is a plant that must go home with me!

It's so gorgeous! The white against the dark red makes it really stand out. I would love to have one someday. They are pretty large for my setup but maybe I can squeeze one in...

WOW!!!! Absolutely GORGEOUS!!! What a great price too! Have you noticed that when you tell yourself to not look at the orchids, your eyes wonder, as if on their own, straight to the orchids? Then your hands, also as if on their own, pick them up, then pay for them?
