She is beautiful! 5 Spikes! I would have bought that one too (if I had the space for such large plants)...

yeah - they went really fast here - I went back a couple days later to pick up rx and went to look and there were maybe 5 total cyms left - don't know if any of the dark ones were left

The Sam's Club near my house had these same orchids. About the same size, HUGE! Maybe 10 different plants in all, but none as pretty as your plant. Mostly fully bloomed out and the flowers starting to fade and falter. Probably the conditions in the store. They wanted $29 for these. At $20 I would have bought one, not at $29 and in the condition they where in. That and I know nothing about Cyms. Oh, and my wife would have killed me and used my flowers for the service.

Oh well, maybe someday.

Very pretty indeed!

lol - thanks

Well - most of the buds are open now - still some left to open yet - and all the older blooms still there and looking fresh (another appealing trait of cyms - how long they hold their blooms ) so hopefully this one will be in bloom for quite some time still

The first one I bought had two open spikes that have faded fast, two that have opened now and it looks like one more on the way.

Neither are mine with this last one I plan to give it more light I think that may help to bring out the color.
