I'm trying to figure out what the heck post #3 has to do with the original post, then noticed that they were banned. Too bad it can't be removed, can it? Just noticed that it has been removed (April 18 2009)
It looks like a very informative book, with some really nice Photos. I also just added another plant to the ever growing list...Cym. lancifolium Hook look like a cute little plant, but more investigation is required.

Orchid3,
maybe contact the nursery that will also be selling it, they might mail order it for you.

I have the book on order from the nursery - People who have recieved advance copies indicate that it is a quality book and well worth its price. The photography is supposed to be excellent.

Let us know if it's as good as others have said... I may have to try and get it myself if it is. I hate getting books then finding out it doesn't contain anything new, but some gorgeous pictures. While I enjoy the pictures, I didn't get any new info. then I end up feeling ripped off.

The book on Warm growing Cymbidiums is excellent. I would recomend it to anyone who loves this species. A lot of information about Thai cymbidiums and growing in Thailand but thats good because of lot of cymbidiums come from there. The photography and pictures are excellent and give a very good perspective as to natural habitat. The only complaint I have so far is that some of the illustrations on the photos are hard to read because they dont contrast with the background. The book is well worth its price.

I just got the book directly from the author, and I'm very happy with it!

This is the greatest Cymbidium book you could have, especially if you live in warm climate areas.

You can buy it from the author's website at:
Pakkret Floriculture

The book cost me $99 USD, but the photographs and information are so good, there is no way you could not be happy with your purchase.

Regards,

Rodrigo
