Default Cymbidium Piper's Dream

This plant was a gift that I received ten years ago and it was in bloom at the time. This is the first time that it has bloomed since I received it. Why did I keep it so long without blooming? Because of the person who gave it to me. She died on Jan. 2 and look what the plant did. The leaves are 48" long and it has twenty five flowers. A strange color but weird colors are common in Cymbidiums I guess.

sorry to hear about your loss, it's almost like the plant chose to honor her passing by blooming... And they are very very beautiful blooms.
