Gorgeous! I really should try some mini Cyms one of these days. It's nice and cool here.

But how do you grow it? I was under the impression that florida people can't grow Cyms.

There are some Cyms that are considered warm-growers.
I grow mine out on the lanai all year which means full sun with about 20% shading from the screen on the pool cage. Lots of water and the only time I protect them from a cold night is when the temps are going down in to the 30s.

Suzanne,
I do not know which cultivar of Sylvia Miller you have, but, although several awards were given to green forms, the majority of the awarded cultivars have been in the yellow shades. Light can play a part in the coloring of your flower too and, whether it is green or yellow, it is still a very rewarding Novelty type Cymbidium to grow because of its potential high flower count and beautiful arching inflorescence.

There are no other markings on the tags. My Cyms came to me from my dear friend Ron when he was unable to care for them
