I believe it is the same for all in the genus though I am sure there are variations. Water too soon can rot the growth, some similar orchids should not get water until the new roots are 3-5 inches long. As with all orchids, too little is always better than too much.

Yes, is the same treatment for all of them. Watch out watering during growing stage.
