There are a lot of variations of dot spots in this particular species. I saw one being sold with two perfect flower spikes (1m in length) near my house for a whopping USD100, which is a LOT considering this is a native species in my country. I could find blooming size for 90% less.

Anyway, definitely tops my favorite orchid list. I love the long spikes with LOTS of flowers. Even without the flower spike, it looks great with beautiful leaves and the nest its aerial roots forms.

Anyway, I attached two picts both taken and owned by Ms. Tina in Bogor. Eventho the two plants are from the same area - Central Celebes, you can see how the dot markings varied between individuals.

I used to have two plants, lost one due to fungi infestation.
