Trigrinum and Madidum both come from and area that gets lots of rainfall during warm months and very little or none during cool months. My opinion is that this paticular hybrid will continue to deteriorated in the same way until kept almost dry. My Cym. Little Black Sambo which is half canaliculatum looked like that the first winter I had it. It recovered when I dropped water to almost nothing. My understanding is that tigrinum requires the same treatment. Madidum seems to get just a little more water in nature but not much during cool months.
