Default Cym Yellow Candy

Cym Yellow Candy grows well in NE Florida and had 5 spikes this year- 4th year from a 6 in seedling.

Very nice sulfur-yellow blooms. Looks very much like Golden Elf (is that one of its parents?). Congratulations on the awesome number of spikes, too!

Yes GE is one of the parents. You can easily check the grex on SBOE website Pedigree of Cym Red Beauty
Easy and free for most hybrids if you don't have Orchidwiz which is excellent for all sorts of details.

The flowers are larger than Golden Elf and I think 5 spikes in the 4th year is pretty good. Spikes are taller than Golden Elf which makes it a lot more attractive in my opinion. Its the first real look I have had at it - the plant was knocked off the bench and the spikes broken last year (I said bad things to myself for that). It was a remake of the cross by the Casa.
