Des.
The RHS registry is difficult to uses as a stand alone research tool. I have Orchid Wiz Encylopedia which not only gives a lot of data about the cross but often shows the picture. It is expensive but to me worth the cost.

I absolutely agree with Harry. Orchidwiz is great and the subscription makes it easy to keep up with new material at a reasonable $80 per year. And it's a good idea to support Alex so he keeps it up to date and keeps improving it.

But Des, just think what a plant would be like when it does get three bulbs and could have a spike per bulb!!!!
That may occur with some of your other clones from this flask that have not spiked this year.

I had a seedling that had been most recalcitrant to bloom and was one step away from the compost pile. When it did finally bloom last year on six bulbs, it carried five spikes!

That must have been something to see .
I have a Khan Flame 'Lucifer ' which I brought back with me from OZ in November 2006 as a yearling ,this plant has outgrown everything in my collection I have just repotted it into a 250mm pot , it has not flowered Can you imagine a first time flowering specimen!!! I have started feeding a little more magnesium this season in the hope that it will do something special for me. If it does spike i don't know if my heart will take the stress of waiting for the flowers to open !!
