Default Grcym. Lovely Melody?

I'm not even sure how to spell (or pronounce) this hybrid's name, but it's a cross (I think) of Gramatophyllum scriptum and Cymbidium ensifolium. My sister got one for me as a present when she was on vacation, and I haven't the slightest clue how to grow it--or what to expect as far as flowers go--or plant size (I'm really hoping that the Cym. ensifolium has the dominant genes for plant size!). Do any of you guys grow this hybrid? If so, I would very much like to get any tips on growing it that you can provide. And just out of curiosity, does anyone know whether or not it's fragrant? Thanks!

Steve

I have one. Med to bright light. Medium bark mix. and water like and oncidium. Really and easy keeper. Mine is about 12-14 inches tall and growing well in a six inch pot. The plant def seems to take a little of both from its parents. Its really a neat little thing. Here are some pics of her.

Oh and I guess we should be expecting a lot of unique new crosses from Cym ensifolium. I know a few hybridizers that have found that she's kinda, um, for the lack of a better term.....easy, and will cross with just about anything.

Grammatocymbidium Lovely Melody = Cymbidium ensifolium x Grammatophyllum scriptum
"A very new and unique hybrid between Grammatophyllum scriptum and Cymbidium ensifolium. Quite compact plants, around 12" tall, will produce sprays of brilliant yellow flowers reminiscent of it's cymbidium parent. Great warmth tolerance for those that have difficulty growing cymbidiums." as per Hybrids

Here is a photo of it - http://www.parksideorchids.com/image...lyMelodyWP.jpg

It is known to have a very pleasant fragrance as per Misc/Others

Thanks, Paul and Dorothy, for your responses. Glad to learn that it will (should?) stay fairly compact. And hopefully it's inherited some of ensifolium's scent.
