all in all being a warm tolerant cymbidium there is not a whole lot of variation of yellow. it may have some light red spotting on the lip from what I can see from a few blasted ones.
we shall see in protect mode. its been crazy weather even for Texas, just plain crazy.

showing signs of fulfillment and this is the Fifi "Harry" 4n cultivar. RHS 1964.
This second spike has started to pop open a few flowers.
We might get to see this whole plant bloom out before it burns up. It has 7 new bulbs coming to say hello. It might be time to put this into a utility tub with rope handles.

We been thru a hurricane, a tornado, a derecho 2 winter freezes of frozen hell and twin summers of total global groin grabbing heat. Its not the plant feeling the pain.

Most cymbs appear to thrive on occasional torture.

a few more flowers to go. the 1st one to bloom lost an arm today. They starting to Losing parts. 24 flowers on this spike lost about 4..
when this is done blooming it will go under the shade cloth for most of the hottest part of the summer. 8 new bulbs. I think I can divide then and make 2 plants. Its just too big for me to lug around like it is now. .
but I want the new growth time to grow and not get burned up..
