This fungi is not present here so there is no need for medication for it.
So if it is I will destroy the plant, I wont be responsible for spreading it
If it is something else OK then I will try

I know Bordeaux mix (containing copper sulfate) is banned in the EU. At least for agriculture; you can't use it in a home garden either.
I'm not saying it makes sense, this is what British gardening friends tell me. Banned in UK, but that dates back to when UK was in the EU.

Issues like those are axgreat opportunity to learn
While there's green, there's hope.. although hope has nothing to do with it.

For me, I accept the fact that Cymbidiums tend to have ugly leaves and don't give much thought. Particularly if the new growth looks OK, I'd not worry about it. The ugly leaves tend to shed, and not spread anything.

Only now I noticed these were Cymbs...
Leaves like that are perfectly normal, at least to me. Mine are far, far worse than that.
Just don't put them neat other plants.

If you're really thinking of discarding it, I would first take it to a university or local agricultural station to be examined under a microscope. It might not be Phyllosticta. As rbarata and Roberta said, Cymbidiums always have lots of black spots on the leaves.
