Default Growing traditional cymbidium

So I recently acquired two cymbidiums - an ensifolium and a sinense and this is what the seller sent me. Just sharing.

Also, let's talk about light. I feel like light is very important in blooming these orchids. It was mentioned that these cymbidiums should be in the shade compared to the standard cymbidiums but I think shade is quite different in different areas. So the seller suggested around 8000 - 12000 lux. I'm not really sure how to translate that into the appropriate light level. I'm thinking of getting a grow light but most of them mention ppfd.
