Cymbidium goeringii "Gyoku-ei" (Japanese) 日本春蘭「玉英」
Cymbidium goeringii 日本春蘭「玉英」Japanese variety Cymbidium goeringii"Gyoku-ei". Orange flower variety with round (plum) sepals. The petals are a little bit open (not closed). Both sepals and petals have thick texture. Discovered in Ibaraki Prefecture in 1966 and was registered in 1972. This is the 3rd year in a row that this plant bloomed for me. Picture is taken by Flora Peculia.
I have 1 more orange flower variety, the flower buds are out of the white sheaths, should in full bloom in 3 weeks.
