Two different Cyrtopodium saintlegerianum blooming right now, one is very red and one is much more golden. Here’s a video showing them both, plus the different blooming and growth stages for Cyrtopodium viresens and punctatum: https://youtu.be/JnWVeU6bTgs

For sure! You could probably put it on a tree and walk away.

Hey bud. Where did you get these? I checked my usual vendors and nothing. Any synonyms?

Some taxonomists have floated the idea that saintlegerianum is punctatum, but I think that idea has been put to rest for a bunch of reasons. I bought one saintlegerianum from Stephen Moffitt which was labeled correctly. I bought the other one from him as well, but it was labeled as holstii, which turned out to be incorrect after I had a conversation with Lou Menezes. I've actually gotten a large portion of my Cyrtopodium collection from Stephen. I've also imported some Cyrtopodium from Floralia (haven't bloomed yet) and have gotten one from Todd (he's got his own YouTube channel) in Florida. It's a small community of folks that collect them, mostly in Florida.
