The species is called ' Sword Orchid' because of their stiff sword-like leaves.
In nature, they grow in trees and on rocks where they receive a lot of sunlight. As an ornamental plant, in addition to providing good sun exposure, regular fertilizing is also needed.

Looks a little strange for a cym. But I do like the way the lip curls and striking color.
