so as i learn more and more about this massive beast, i learned that they create the root nest as a sign of maturation, sooooo....this is exciting for me!

That's a magnificent plant. And I did laugh at the comment that it's still approximately two years from blooming.

I suspect that plant isn't going anywhere. It seems quite happy in its current location. DC, you chose its site and container well!

that's no joke either...in a lot of places it only blooms once every two years because of the sheer amount of energy it requires. I HOPE that means that when it does come it is worth the wait.

truthfully, if it never blooms but continues to be this vigorous and beautiful, i'll not complain once
