i have been watching this thread and wanting, to know more and to have one of my own lol, i finally have one in the ecuagenra cart....one can only resist so long
how is it doing?
any updates to share or new insights?

I think I used some coconut chunks on the bottom and a bunch of oak leaves for the top half of the pot. Plenty of water and fertilizer added as well!

when you say coconut chunks do you mean coir or pieces of the hard shell?

On a work break - use a huge pot. Imagine it's a Cymbidium. The roots look the same. I put my bare-root Ecuagenera Peristeria and Anguloa directly into 5 gallon pots. Within 6 months I could use the plants as handles to pick up the pots. In a rainier climate I would use a looser mix rather than a smaller pot. I think I wrote what I used above.
