Lin, I would do a little more research on the citrata. I also have one but, I've read over and over that they prefer to be potted. I've mounted my others, fastuosa and punctata but I really would hold off on the citrata.

It's Official!
Our project vendor will be Parkside Orchids
Just received the following email from Tom at Parkside confirming their ability to assist us in the project:
Hi Susanne: I have just had confirmation that the aerangis are indeed blooming size (some having old spikes). so that should work. I am not sure if they come in mounted or potted, but we can deal with that. We should have our plants later this week, we will work out the details, communicate to you with a price and the applicable discount. We can have this up and running by next week if your time line is moving that quickly. John and I will be out of town from the 11th to 18th, but home after that. (a week at the beach with the grandchildren!)
We look forward to getting this project off the ground for you! Thanks for ordering from us.
All the best. Tom
The quality of the plants we all received from them in our last project was outstanding and I know you will all be thrilled with our new orchids
*I did hear from Erich at Hoosier Orchids but he said it would probably be a problem supplying the number of plants we need...and that they would be Near Blooming Size.
I told him we'll keep them in mind for future projects.

If you've decided to stop here and not continue, that's fine...but I need to know so I can give the correct number of plants to the vendors when I speak to them.
Please respond, one way or another

For those members in Europe wishing to order the project plant, they are available from:
Schwerter Orchideenzucht
by arrangement. They are not listed in the general list.
Search for Vanda tesselata (€7,95 - our agreed upon price, be careful as there are more expensive V. tesselata) and add that to the shopping cart - along with anything else that you may want to order, I purchased a cork mount to go with mine as well as some other plants to keep the Aerangis company - then, at the 'checkout' screen, in the box that says:
"Fügen Sie hier Ihre Anmerkungen zu dieser Bestellung ein"
write: Please deliver the Aerangis rhodosticta instead of Vanda tesselata. For Orchid Board Project.
Orders are shipped each Tuesday, it seems.
If anyone has any questions, please PM me and I will help.
I placed my order today.

Hi everybody
The poll is officially closed
I sent Parkside our username list and am just waiting for their discount/pricing information...let the ordering begin
I sent the names of all who confirmed...and also gave them the names of a few folks I haven't heard from so Parkside is prepared just in case these folks decide to go along for the ride
I'm placing my order as soon as I can figure out which TC gets ordered

Excellent! I'm really looking forward to getting the Aerangis. I already have another plant in mind to order, Cycnodes Wine Delight. It'll be number two. I have one, but it's not going to bloom this year. The new growth is quite smaller than the previous.
Let the games begin. :-D

Cycnodes Wine Delight has long been on my wish list but after going through their listings, I found 5 possibles for my TC...then after looking AGAIN, I found they added a few new ones to Tom's Blooming Specials and there's a Laelia Santa Barbara Sunset 'Showtime' HCC/AOS
that is calling my name!
What's a girl to do?
By the way, Tom says the Aerangis rhodosticta will be available later today
