Hello all!

About the 'Tentative Plant List' for OB 4, I inform that I have the following:
Laelia (Hadrolaelia, Brasilaelia, Sophronitis) tenebrosa, Coelia bella, Stanhopea embreei and Coelogyne mossiae. Anyway, L. tenebrosa is not 'compact', in fact it's enormous!

Looking at Plant List, my favourite (by far) is C. harrisoniana, but I think someone have it.

I suggest another compact catt-alliance plants:
Brassavola perrinii
Cattleya intermedia
C. nobilior
C. velutina
Laelia jongheana
L. perrinii
L. pumila
L. sincorana

I think these are relatively easy to find in US/Canada. In Brazil I can get almost all the species listed in the Tentative List, in brazilian nurseries or by trading agreements with Ecuagenera, Andy's Orchids and SBOE

I think (as I stated before) that Phalaenopsis-alliance, Paphiopedilum-alliance and Angraecum are hours-concurs this time, for the obvious fact they are chosen in previuos OB Projects (in a universe with 800 genera and 20.000 natural species, I think repetitions aren't necessary)

I have a question about the tentative plant list. I see that there are names next to the different orchids. Do we vote now for a few we like and then it goes to the top 10 to pick from?

In other words, do I let you know now what are my top favorites?

I think the voting should wait until we can find a few that are available to all .. I have been doing some research ..
I haven't check most USA sites because I think we have a better chance of getting something that is available to CA and Europe (Brazil too! ) first.

Coelia (Bothriochillus) bella is not big when young, but becames huge if you don't divide it! I have this one, I think it is out, isn't it?

In a rapid search I found available both Leptotes and Bletila. Both Cochleanthes and Aerangis biloba aren't available in nurseries web sites; but in Brazil web is not not the best search method, here we need to ask some 'key people' directly! I'll copy the Tentative List and ask!
