Oncidium. Lack of pests, rapid growth, amount of flowers and how long they last. Quickly make specimens. Grow and flower anywhere under nearly any conditions. Hard to beat.

My favorite alliance is paphiopedilum. I love the strange, but beautiful blooms. I especially love Paph. sanderianum. I find them easy to grow and there is such a variety of green leaf and mottled leaf paphs.

Maxillaria's.. Grows and flowers well... Highly scented and just a great variety in shapes and size..

Vandas. Tough and they have few insects. I find them the easiest orchid to grow.
