What is your favorite orchid alliance?

I chose paphs. They are my favorite, I also like all the other slipper orchids (phragmipedium, mexipedium, cypripedium, selenipedium). I think I can really choose paphs easily because I've studied paphs inside and out. I know the most about them than any other orchid.

I chose "Miscellaneous" because from my first orchid show, long before I even was aware that you could grow them in your house, it is alway the cases with teeny, delicate or weird stuff that has me staring for an hour -angraecoids, Dracs, Sophronitis etc. That is different from what I grow; those itty-bitty cute things are in a case for a reason. My favorite to grow are "orchid weeds" that manage to grow and flower come hell or high water.
