If rehab is where you go to talk about your problems with other people that have the same problems, then doesn't that make the OB kinda like a rehab?

Tindomul, you said you have a Phalaeopsis chibae with roots only...DON'T THROW IT OUT YET!!!
The thing may still be alive. I've had a Doritis pulcherimma grow a side shoot after all the leaves had dropped and left nothing but healthy roots. Mine died only because I didn't know at the time that my growing conditions allowed me to only grow Phalaenopsis mounted. Had I had known this earlier, I would still have this plant.

About 80 or so. Not counting seedlings from flasks.

You know, this post made me update my list (something that I hate doing, but must be done) Anyway, I now have 69 orchids, but will have 89 in May (assuming that I don't buy anything else by then--which is highly unlikely) when I receive my rupicolous laelias.
Only 2 years into the hobby--I shudder to think what will be 2 years from now, hugh?
peace out. LOLOLOLOL

I only have a handful of them, even though I've been growing them for five years. If I had a greenhouse, you'd better believe I'd hit the hundreds. No such luck, though, and my budget is tight enough that I can only indulge in plants occasionally.

I have been growing for a couple years, but have only had two or three. Less than a year ago I bought my first bulk Orchids and now have over 5000. I can't tell you the exact number beacuse YOU haven't come and counted them for me

I'm really scared to count (and would probably need a counting device so as not to get mixed up). Started in 2006 with a costco Phal and I'm over 200 various types at the moment. Trying to coast along and be happy with what I have, but.......so much out there, always seems to be another 1 or 2 that are "so different" I NEED to have them. Does that ever end because if not I will have to be purchasing a conservatory in the near future!!

I'd say, start saving up for that conservatory. You'll be needing it soon plus a green house.....Theres a lot more Orchids out there that you need
