Photo Contest-Intermediate/Advanced-November '10
Hi guys! Some of you may have seen the thread entitled "Winter Project" We have decided to do a photo contest, about once a month. The object of this is to further our photography skills with a little friendly competition and critique.
We will have two divisions. One for beginners and one for intermediate/advanced.
We will have two judges, one for each division. They will critique each picture, so that we can learn, and pick three winner. One first, one second, and one third. We will also have a members choice award. There are no prizes, unless someone wants to donate, so winners just get satisfaction as well as learning from the judges.
THIS THREAD IS ONLYFOR POSTING PICTURES! NO CHIT CHAT we will have another thread for the chit chat.
How to enter:
* each entry must be on one post, but separate ( i.e. three different pictures, links or attachments all on one post) There is a 3 entry limit.
* please include the following
1) The picture ( duh! :P )
2) Camera settings ( f-stop, shutter speed, ISo, and flash) if available
3) Picture title ( use the title bar for the thread )
4) an explanation of what the picture is. ( lets keep it small, just a sentence or two, please)
* submit your thread.
*** the deadline is November 30th. any post after that date will not count.
i will reply to this thread with an EXAMPLE so you can understand what i mean
again, please NO CHIT CHAT!

I know.. no Chit Chat here.. but... A link to the Chit Chat thread at the beginning of this one would be very helpful!! Furthermore, you said: two divisions! Who decides which division should a picture belong to? Should that also be indicated when posting the photos?

Sure. I'll add a link.
The entrant decides wether thy are advanced/intermediate or beginner. There are 3 separate threads. One for beginner, one for intermediate/ advanced and one for chat. I'll add the three links to each thread.
If you have anymore questions, feel free to pm me
