just a comment... why not instead of complaining don't you try to find a solution? I mean, Dave was organizing this project, but I think it is all of us who are making it possible... right?

D. laevifolium at Großräschener Orchids is supposed to be FS (I called them and they confirmed at the phone. It is written "half-grown" plants, because they are not too big)

Laelia purpurata, there are at least 5 other vendors in Europe selling this species:
Orchideen und Orchideenzubehör der Schwerter Orchideenzucht 4 different varieties all FGS
Laelia purpurata 'carnea' FS
Currlin Orchideen - Onlineshop...Orchideenversand direkt ab Gaertnerei 8 different varieties, some of the FS
Cattleya Naturformen 3 3 varieties (2 of them FS)
Elsner Orchideen 4 varieties, 2 of them FS
Catalogue la cour des orchidées, Dracula-Oncidium 3 varieties, 2 of them FS
Someone also complained at some point that Dendrobium moniliformes is not to be found in Europe... well, at least two vendors have it.

Well I've already ordered a Laelia purpurata var flammea, Cattleya intermedia var aquinii... They were too pretty to resist... but a coconut orchid would be grand!

I think they're really interesting. They would be very unique in my collection. And from what I hear- very forgiving easy growers!

I should have said but I had actually searched other sites for both of them, and not found them. Well I did find purpurata elsewhere but that also said young plants'. I didn't just report it here, I searched (sites I knew, and those listed on other thread) THEN mentioned it.

Anyway, I'm really not trying to cause trouble. I was intending to do this checking before the poll was posted and unfortunately while I've been on OB a lot, the time I've had available has not been in one continuous block (no more than 5 min together... a lot of them, but all broken up) and I just can't do research without sitting down with it for a few hours.

Anyway, I really just wanted those in Europe to be aware that there may be a problem from the listed vendor, in the HOPE someone would find it at one I did not know about.

Halfgrown and it's 25 euros?? The price does bother me (especially when you figure in shipping) for a plant that's not even BS. I can't find an other seller that has it. A shame, that's one of my favorites!

kavanaru already remarked that there is more than one source for this plant.
