Thanks all for the comment on the Masde.
Camille, I like your photo, my comment on your Dendrobium was a little joke about the latin name, which are usually very descriptive of the plants but sometimes misleading... in this case, a picture of aphyllum (meaning leafless, but I am sure you know that) with a leaf was funny ;-)

In the past 3 calendar contests (all the ones I voted in), everyone had to vote for 13 pics. I don't think a lot of people post in this thread when they submit a photo, so there's no way of knowing where we're at. I believe that the way Marty does it is to select the calendar worthy ones (ie,meeting the requirements, in focus...) out of all the submissions he gets, then we vote on those. Usually there are something like 40-50 photos that are in the poll. Does that help?

All beautiful photos up to now!
I'm still struggling as most of my photos too (esp the 'best' ones to me) are all in the incorrect format..... I'll have to remember in the future for future OB calendar competitions!
