Okay....I'm all in! Hoping the Encyclias get me in the door again. Encyclia belizensis, to be exact.

I'm waiting on a potinara, I noticed this morning that several of the blooms are starting to open. We still have a week, don't we?

Camille I love the detail in the lip of that Den!

Jason, I remember you showing this shot with the fungas. It's a really cool one!

Yes, Lc is Laeliocattleya.

Thanks Rosie, it should be open fully by Monday so I'll get snapping then.

Thanks Dave!:waving
yeah, I couldn't believe this fungus appeared on my "species tree" just as the belizensis (which is mounted on the same tree trunk, about 18" below the fungus) sprouted it's first blooms ever. These were just castaway spores that I guess had been laying dormant on the oak branch that I made into the "species tree". I couldn't have asked for a better colored fungus to go with belizensis.....thought it would make for a better background than the standard black backdrop. Although I must say, there was a black backdrop behind there, I just managed to frame it most of the way out on this one, somehow. Anyway, thanks for the props, and good luck to everyone.
