Backgrounds are up to your discretion. OB does not alter them........to my knowledge.

I know that this is specifically not in the rules, but is there anything against entering the same photo as last year (which was not selected)?
I know that it's not very creative, but the reason I ask is because all my photos are on my external harddrive, which I left in france since it wouldn't work on american voltage. I only have a few recent orchid photos on my laptop and I don't know if any are calendar quality.

If we have already put the name on the photo, and due to the background, could not remove it aesthetically, will that be okay?

I was thinking of doing the same thing since it was 14th. But opted for another, I don't see why not.
