Summer 2010 project choice (participants only)
The POLL IS CLOSED Sorry for any confusion. It turns out the Dendrobium is not availibile to everyone. WE WILLBE DOING THE INTERMEDIATE PROJECT.
IF you would like to suggest a plant Place your suggestion here:
http://www.orchidboard.com/community...-new-post.html
Please don't vote on this poll if you are NOT going to participate in the Summer 2010 Project. if you would like to join go ahead and vote but please let me know you plan on participating so I can add you to the list and not remove your vote.
We are voting here to choose which type of project you would like to have.
1. Dendrobium moniliforme Project: This is a project very similar to the Neo. project we had awhile back. There are many different type's of this species. What this means is you pick which type you want to grow and share you results.
2. A Blooming size, Species intermediate growing plant that is 16 inches tall or less and 20.00 dollars or less U.S. (I don't know what the exchange is elsewhere).

I think the Dendrobium moniliforme project sounds nice, and I was wanting another Dend.

I think the Den moniliforme is a nice plant, but would be too hard to grow here. I opt for the intermediate species.

I posted this in the other thread twice but with no responses or thoughts maybe here someone will take a look.
2 Suggestions for the intermediate category
Dinema Polybulbon
IOSPE PHOTOS
Mediocalar Decoratum
IOSPE PHOTOS
Both are intermediate and vigorous growers with very unique and intresting flowers & foliage.
Also seem readily available atleast at European and a few U.S i have seen.

Lol, you're doing the same thing as I've been doing. We're still kind of jumping the gun- we haven't even decided if we're doing the intermediate project yet, though it looks as if that will be the "winner."
In any case, make sure your suggestions are in the parameters listed above, and Dave will start taking suggestions once more people have gotten a chance to vote.
