I really like the idea of Dendrobium moniliforme but I voted for the intermediate because I don't think I can get hold of the Dendrobium moniliforme in the UK.
Dave if you've not seen on the other thread I'm in on this project (assuming I can get hold of the chosen plant at an acceptable price).

As Izzie has said, Dave is not quite ready for suggestions yet. Usually we would wait several days for people to respond and join the project before we start getting plant suggestions together.

2 Suggestions for the intermediate category
Dinema Polybulbon
IOSPE PHOTOS
Mediocalar Decoratum
IOSPE PHOTOS
Both are intermediate and vigorous growers with very unique and intresting flowers & foliage.
Also seem readily available atleast at European and a few U.S i have seen.

Jeff I did respond to your question in the other thread, it just got buried. I have your suggestion on my list and will put them up for discussion very soon. You are not being ignored

Hi Rosie
If you couldn't find it, I'd assume it's not going to be available so...
If the Den moniliforme is not available in the U.K., it doesn't fit the criteria. I know that some of the specifics have changed but availability to all is sort of a deal-breaker

I assumed that if Camille suggested it that it would be available in the UK. Shows I need to get out more. Other then the woods.
If that's the case the poll is moot.
Rosie can you confirm whether or not you can get it?

Well I can't find it so far although I may have missed something. Nenella mentioned having problems as well, in the other project thread, see link below.

I've only checked the sites that I know I can afford to buy from (as per my comments about buying from Europe on the other thread), not sure where Nenella has looked.

The Dendrobium Laevifolium that was suggested by another person is also a very intresting one!

I just voted for the sake of saving time (and because I have limited access to internet right now)... If I am still on time to join the Summer Project, please add me to the list... if not well, just delete my vote
