I had a great idea for an article, and started writing even, but I don't think I'll have time to finish. My MSc thesis draft is due in a week, and I still have a ton of writing to do.

Help, help...Only 2 days to get it published. I have my article done but when I go to publish it I can't find how to link my gallery pictures. I have the codes in the article but how do I actually get the pictures in the space????? I don't want to leave out the pictures.

Hi Lorraine, Sorry I have tried and tried to embed a photo into a rticle and was unable too. I know Tindo had problems as well maybe he can help. I will PM him and Marty

Hi!

The way I was finally able to do it was by loading the pictures I wanted in the orchid board gallery. Once the pictures I wanted were uploaded there, I copied the linked thumbnail url. I only used the part of the url that was within the words img.
example, my photo is
[url = htt p: / /w ww .or chidboard.com/community/gallery/ showphoto.php?p h oto=26919] [i m g]http: //www.orchidboard .com /com munity/gallery/data/144 1 /thum bs/Capture1.JPG[ / img]

[/url]
So I only used this part:
[img] h ttp: //www.orchidboard .com/community/gallery/data/144 1/thumbs/Capture1.JPG[/img]

Just copy and paste that part. For some reason, not all my pictures displayed this link, so some of my photos I could not upload properly. Hopefully thats clear enough.

I finally got my article posted with pictures too. Whew just a day to spare. I thought I'd never get it done. Can't wait to read what comes in the rest of today and tomorrow.
