My photo was slightly out of focus and it did have a distracting background ... I'll have to find better for next year

Thanks for the reply! Your cattl. is really beautiful! It looks a bit different from mine though: the lip is definatly not the same. The petals on mine are a bit more crumpled by the edges but looks the same for the most part. I do think it's a hybrid.. Here's a pic:

Dave, by my count you are #13. Either way you got my vote - we need a ghost in there an that was great pic.

I'm afraid my count agreed with Dave that he is at 14.
I can see 14 pics which got over 100 votes each, and unfortunately the ghost is the lowest of those.

My photo this year did way better than the one I submitted last year, so I'm pleased even if I didn't make the top 13. It actually garnered 84 votes. Thanks to everyone who liked it and voted for it. The calendar is going to rock that's for sure. Nice job everybody!

Mine placed exactly one place behind my last year's photo. Last year I got September, but I think I'm October or November this time. Thank you to all who voted for my Enc. cordigera.....and Royal, thanks for helping me choose that one.
And to Renee.....I really think your plant is the same as mine, it just has some variations. If it's not C. loddigesii, then I think it is definitely one of it's parents.
