It's time for another photo contest. We haven't had one in a while.
Subject: "Orchids in unusual places"
Submission deadline: Sunday Feb 19 at midnight (extended)
Voting for best and most creative photo will begin shortly after.
More on the contest subject: Please don't submit just the flower picture,or a plant picture. Focus should be on where the orchid is placed, not what the orchid is. Plant itself, doesn't even need to be in bloom, but it needs to be an orchid. It can be a photo staged by you or it can be natural picture that you took somewhere... Unusual placement is the key here.

Contest rules.
1. Email your photo to contest@orchidboard.com no later then Feb 12 at midnight. Entries can either be sent as attachments or external links to our photo gallery or external website. Please put "Contest #2" in subject line.
2. Picture must be no larger then 800x600 (if you submit larger photo it will be resized and entered at the smaller size)
3. Please include the following information with your submission:
Name (member and real name if you'd like):
Photo Title (optional):
4. Members may submit only 1 photo. Non-winning images may be resubmitted for future contests (if applicable to the contest assignment). Winning photos are ineligible for resubmissions.
5. You must be the photographer (and copyright holder) of any photos you submit. However, the photographic subject(s) do not have to be of your own.
6. Photo entries may be submitted as attachments or a link. You retain all copyrights to any entries submitted to OrchidBoard.com, but you grant OrchidBoard.com the right to reproduce these entries within OrchidBoard.com domain.
7. We remind you that this is a photography contest and should not be regarded as an art or computer graphics contest. All entries must be actual, original photographs taken by the submitter.
8. Matting, framing, or any other artificial borders are not permitted. Watermarks and signatures are allowed, although OrchidBoard.com reminds photographers that such elements – if too large or prevalent – can be a distraction to a photo’s composition.
9. Contest will be judged by members of the forum. Each member's vote will be logged. Only one vote is allowed. Members that submit their photos are allowed to vote for their own photo. Winners will be notified by email.
10. OrchidBoard.com reserves the right to resolve disputes and disqualify entries as they see fit.
11. Past contest winners, must sit out at least one contest before participating again
