The entire state of Oregon votes by mail! The thing that blows me away is people are STILL too lazy to vote. I mean common people how hard is it to read about the issues and candidates, fill in the bubbles, stick a stamp on it and drop it in the mail? I voted already too. Good for you Camille for taking it so seriously, and voting from across the pond!

Mary I'm curious why you think Obama is an isolationist?

So is anybody else sick of hearing about Joe the Plumber?

I'm across the pond, but am getting really tired about Joe the plumber. And his name isn't even Joe! That's all I hear on CNN these last few days. I hope they drop it soon, it's getting old. Can't wait for Nov 4th, then hopefully we'll never hear about Joe again!

How about your orchids? We'd love to hear how your collection is doing...how about dropping a note in the orchid-related forums?
Yes, it's been quite a while since I've asked any questions or even left a comment. I'm a lurker more than anything and learn quite a bit from past posts, but I do frequent the boards when I get the chance. I was quite surprised though to see politics discussed here on the orchid board.

What is kind of interesting is 7-Eleven convenient stores are having a poll using coffee cups. You can buy blue for Obama and red for McCain and the poll results up to now are very close to the one we see here.

Well its obvious that democrats are more likely to shop for coffee at 7 eleven. Furthermore, they are more likely to take that kind of poll seriously while republicans are more likely to have a sense of humor and purposefully choose the blue cup rather than the red cup. They are also more likely to be to busy reading the wall street journal while in the store to notice they are inadvertently participating in a poll. Therefore, I propose that half of all the blue cup votes should be cast out.
