Default FREE ORCHID test your knowledge

Yes this is right a free orchid of your choice .I am offering a gift certificate to anyone (NORTH AMERICA due to shipping reasons) to the person who can identify this bloomm the gift certificate will be a forty dollar value good for what ever you choose from whoever you want . this will end next friday night at eight pm eastern standard time. you can guess all you want to but one per response, no one will be notified untill next friday night so the first guess could be the right one but you will not no untill the end. here are the clues

1) It is fragrant
2) It is rare
3) It is no longer available for sale to the best of my knowledge
4) no i have never made a post or is there a post of this on this board there is no use looking on this board as this is the first bloom on this for me
5) Good luck as there will not be anymore clues given

Wellll...thanks a lot, Dennis! In looking for what this one might be, I have now added about 6 Phals that I must have to my list!

Whatever yours is...it's gorgeous!

Reminds me of Yellow Princess 'Pine Ridge 2' but your blooms looks like a species cross, like amboinensis. . .hmmmmmm, gonna have to keep mulling.

Looks kinda like a Phal. I-Hsin Peacock 'Fashion' HCC/AOS, too. . .but yours has fewer spots, more yellow.

I've got the Salu 'Water Spot". . .I don't think it's that one. . .it's got something more exotic in the mix.

This is driving me nuts.

Hey! Is this one of those freak genetic mutations Orchidhunter talks about on his blog? Like a Phal. x Frog or newt or some such.

This is a tough one... it does look to be a primary hybrid.
I have a question though... what makes it 'rare'?

Keeping with what was said, I'll go with
Phalaenopsis doweryensis x Phalaenopsis amboinensis
Though I am quite certain it's wrong!
