How many orchids do you have in your collection?

I have approx 300 orchids.
I try to keep it around this number.
Any more and the repotting becomes an expensive and hard working exercise.

I think just in the vandas, there has to be near 70 plants, there are over 30 cattleyas, 7 oncidiums and several bulbos

So, individuals...around 55....species...around 22...hybrids 4 or five

Right now I have TONS of Masd infracta since I bought a flask. Now...what to do with them all!

As stated I'm the Obsessed One?
We have (my father and myself) an addiction that doesn't involve needles.To be able to grow and flower some of gods most amazing creations is a truly satisfying
experience.To study the different attributes of how they reproduce and the varying contrivances by which some species induce pollination is to ME totally fascinating?
We are currently member of 6 chid societies and are on the committee's of 3, yes I thick Obbsessed is the correct word.

I range bewteen 300 -350 in a basement lightroom and on windowsills (well plant racks next to windows). As I get to 350, there will be a few that don't catch enough attention or light or water or something so my conditions seem to dictate the size of the collection. But did I mention I am looking for a 2-3 bedroom house that a greenhouse can be attached to???? Does that classify me as an addict too....????
