Default My wife and I used to host a New Year's

Party every year. We may have not have gotten quite as extravagant, but we sure had some good stuff out there. We usually had the meatball thing with grape jelly and chili sauce (for those of you who haven't tried it, you don't know what you're missing), stuffed mushrooms with cheese and sausage, shrimp rumaki (with a water chestnut wrapped in bacon and put under the broiler), hot cheese dip with hot sausage and Ro-tel tomatoes with tortilla chips and home made guacamole. Heart clogging goodness to be had by all!

I am a spinach lover so I copied the Spinach Balls recipe. Yesterday I made Spinach and Leek White Bean Soup. I added some chicken and it was wonderful....if you like spinach.

Default There aren't too many veggies I don't

like. Off hand, all I can think of is turnips, parsnips and rutabegas.

I agree. Other than those 3 I eat anything except tin cans. I grew up on a farm and would have to crawl on the ground to weed the parsnips. Have you ever tried that? They give you an awful rash, talk about itch....

Default As bad as okra?

That stuff always made me itch so badly. But it was worth it. I loves me some fried okra!
