Default Christmas Dinner/ Christmas Brunch

Anybody making one? Looks like I will be making both, beacuse one is at my brother or sister's on Christmas Eve and the other will be Christmas Day at my brother-in-law's. The Christmas Eve meal will be the hardest, but I will probably have help, so it won't be too awful bad. On Christmas morning, I am going to make an Egg Casserole thing, kind of like Quiche, but no crust with either sausage or bacon and homemade blueberry pancakes. For Christmas Eve, we will have a beef roast on the grill. I have not quite figured out what I will have with it, but I will make them much different than what we had for Thanksgiving. Understand that my family will eat just about anything, so it shouldn't be too hard to come up with an adequate menu.

I'll be cooking for Christmas Day at my house.
Rather than the whole Italian lasagna shindig, I'll be doing a number of smaller munchies for throughout the day and then a smaller version of the Italian meal for dinner.

We're doing the usual dinner at home on Christmas Eve, and Christmas lunch at my grandma's. My mom does most of the cooking, and it's vey traditional french holiday food. We'll most likely be having foie gras and champagne as an 'apperitif', chapon (castrasted young rooster), veggies of some kind, and fruit or chocolat bûche for dessert(bûche means log in french, in reference to the shape of the cake!) And my grandma usually insists on having langouste(sort of like lobster) tails for xmas lunch, on top of everything else. We always end up having 5-6 course meals that last for hours!

Default Well, I think it might be the

same type of roast we had at Thanksgiving, along with roasted vegetables (usually quartered onions, potatoes, carrots along with garlic and asparagus) The garlic and asparagus is put induring the last 30 minutes of cooking so that you don't burn them. (Burnt garlic is nasty and not hard to do) Then, I thought we might try Cauliflower and Goat Cheese Casserole, Seven Layer Salad With Homemade Peppercorn Ranch Dressing, Blueberry and Cherry Pie.

We're going to my daughter's house (as always) on Christmas. We do Thanksgiving here and Christmas there. Not sure what's on the menu though.

This year my newly married daughter will be having Christmas Eve dinner at her new house (Yes!). The menu as of right now, is lasagna, salad, breadsticks and pumpkin cheesecake.
Our family ritual of My French Toast and bacon for breakfast. I pray for the day when one of the girls learns to make it better than I do, so that I can give it up! But I've been making it since I was 8 so, I don't see that happening anytime soon!
Christmas dinner will be ham, a glorified macaroni and cheese, green beans with crumbled bacon, circus salad (Lacey's favorite, and she'll be so happy that we don't have to share it with anyone, like we normally do for all the other family occassions!), sweet potato cassarole (Thank goodness Lindsey has learned to make that one!) and something sinful for dessert (I just haven't figured out what that would be yet!) Thankfully this year we have no where to go on Christmas Evening, so I'll get to stay home and relax...After I drop off my signature miniature cheesecakes to my next door neighbors!
I'll be exhausted, my husband will already be asleep on the sofa, the girls will be complaining that they are stuffed and can't move, and the boys will be asking if there's anything else to eat!... and I'll be thinking to myself "I love Christmas, but I sure am glad that it only comes around once a year!"
