I usually went with a sprinkle of gorgonzola and a big hunk of sourdough steel cut oat bread..(or a bread bowl)....
a bit of provencal seasoning...(fresh lilac, sage, thyme, fennel, basil, tarragon)... leeks... fire roasted garlic (yeah you stick a metal fork in it over the fire and cook until the inner peel comes off on it's own and the garlic clarifies like warming butter)....
WOW does this bring back memories...
Nothing like this stuff for shoveling snow! (of course I'm in Florida now...)
I'm going to go get a mop to fix this drool problem that has moved from merely electronic damage... to flooring...
I USED to be a chef...
now I'm dieting so that stuff has got to stop... only 35lbs to go...
