Dave to the rescue
Dave, any brilliant suggestions for boneless skinless chicken breast idea ? other then BBQ or breaded cutlet or a stir fry or deep fry  Got a day off today and feel like making something new
perhaps stuffed, rolled or baked or something else ?

I know Im not dave, but if I were you, I would grill it, slice it, and saute it in a mix of tomatoes, onions, peppers, a little garlic. Get some guacamole, sour cream, salsa, and a wrap or 4. Yum yum. Fajitas!

Ok, so take the breast (chicken!) and cut a deep, wide hole in it with a long skinny knife - you only want a hole big enough to stuff in the ham and cheese. Stuff it with pepper ham (slice wrapped around the cheese) and cheese (cut in a stick) of your choice (swiss, jalapeno monteray, herb havarti). Dip in seasoned flour, then beaten egg with some milk (egg wash), and then bread crumbs (preferably Panko). Now pan fry it until golden on both sides and finish cooking in oven @350 F. It is cooked just before the molten cheese starts ooozing out. If you don't want to panfry - lightly spray them with pam/vegetable spray and bake in a hot oven @400 F.
Panko is a japanese bread crumb -very crispy and nice.

Thanks, I'll try it. Being a sushi fanatic and everything that's japanese, fortunately I have loads of panko. I often just do tonkatsu or just a cutlet out of chicken/pork. Will be good to twist it a bit with some good cheese

I'll be making it tonight. Last night I made black bean soup and it was pretty hearty, so we made a meal of it. I'll let you know tonight

How excellent, I love black bean soup! Especially served with cornbread, or a cornbread muffin. Lots of people say they don't like cornbread.....too dry, crumbly, gritty in the mouth. They change their mind with this recipe - these are moist and delicious. Use a good cheddar in it.
Corn Bread
Yield: 2 loaves @ 640 g
or approx. 22 – 2 oz. Muffins (#16 scoop)
Cornmeal 170 g
Baking Powder 10 g
Bread Flour 85 g
Green Onion 60 g
Diced Red Pepper 60 g
Frozen Corn Kernel 170 g
Green Chilies 60 g
Grated Cheddar 85 g
Salt 6 g
Black Pepper 4 g
Sour Cream 360 g
Eggs 150 g
Corn Syrup 60 g
1280 g
1.Mix together dry ingredients
2.Mix together wet ingredients
3.Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients
4.Mix until just combined, do not over mix
5.Portion into greased pans
6.Bake @ 375°F until firm

Don't forget to cook the recipe with an orchid nearby - this is afterall an Orchid discussion!
And always keep an orchid food product in the cupboard (pure vanilla).

funny you say this... I love corn bread and was eyeing a recipe few days ago...on top of that, at the International Amphibian Days I was playing with a vanilla orchid and really wanted to buy it, because it smelled sooooooooooo good, but with the whole soil issue at the border I didn't
I did stay at a holiday inn express though  hehe

....and what with all that hand polinating you would have to do, sun drying and overnight sweating.....it could go on for weeks! But the result.....fantastic.
