Any more of our European friends take the plunge yet?
I made mine a week ago, I'm sorry I couldn't get pics up sooner!
They were loverly and delish. My kitchen bunnies helped, of course.

How did you get your cookies to come out so PRETTY!! Mine looked like lumpy blobs. Even the ones I squashed down didn't come out that nice, Izzie. You must have "The Love"!

You know, I really think it's the baking stones. They're magical. It's impossible (in my experience) to burn stuff on them (just overcook), and they cook sooooo evenly and wonderfully.

Well, here are mine! I made them on Wednesday, but I only had one egg, so this is half quantity. As you can see from the photograph, my son thought they were definitely worth grabbing, and they were very moreish

I have had a thought about alternatives - how about chopped apricot, dark chocolate and halved hazelnuts?

BTW, the six on the left had longer in the oven, causing the chocolate to soften more and the cookies flattened out more.

Hedge, they look DELISH! I'm glad everyone has had success- and some great suggestions! I've logged them all in my recipe book.

Anybody ready to submit recipes of their own on a new thread? I was thinking of doing a bread next.
And maybe, a soup this winter!
