I'm going to make mine this weekend. The only reason I wouldn't use macedamia's would be because I ate them all before the cookies can be made! LOL! I think I may sub the white chocolate for milk or dark chocolate.

there is 8 oz in one cup. for the US. is it called a US fluid ounce, i have no idea!

Fluid oz/ounce is an ounce.
If you go to google and type in something like "1 cup to ounces" it should immediately give you the conversion.
Where's Kavanaru when we need him to do the conversions?

sorry guys, I have my in-laws here and they brought the kids.. so, my computer is blocked :-)

1 Cup = 8 US Fl. oz...

but one Fl. oz us not an Ounce!

1 Ounce = 28 gr (it's an unit of weight!)
1 US Fl. oz is a unit of volume = 29.6 mL
