I don't know if you're a guy or a gal, but Pinterest has a plethora of crock pot recipes. I will share one for honey soy ribs, though, that is an old recipe I was given
Technically they're for a dutch oven, but..bah humbug to that. And while it may look like a lot of ingredients, it comes together beautifully. This is one of our favorite dishes in my house:
1 Vidalia Onion, chopped
1/4 inch Slice of Ginger
5 Cloves Garlic, run through a press or minced
4 Tablespoons Honey
1 cup Chinese Rice Wine (Or Dry Sherry)
4 Tablespoons Light Soy Sauce
1/2 Cup Oyster Sauce
1 & 1/2 Teaspoons Chinese 5 Spice
1 Cinnamon Stick
2 Teaspoons Dried Chili Flakes
1 Cup Water.
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl, pour over ribs in the crock pot, cook on high 4-5 hours and low 6ish hours or until meat is tender and falls off the bone (if you have bones. I often use country style ribs, which are boneless). Serve over rice, garnish with cilantro if you want.
PS - If you don't do spice, cut the chili flakes to like 1 or 1/2 tsp depending.
