Though if you want really great food - at 1/10th the cost, take the ferry across to mainland China, Sue. The food is gorgeous!

I love steamers - piss clams -(steamed) as nasty as they look - mmm mmm good! I love oysters, too - raw, sauteed, fried .. mmmm
I grew up in a Polish family eating kielbasa, chicken heart soup and pierogis ( homemade) but with potato and cheese stuffing not ground up lungs .. eww!
I have had alligator tail in Florida and beefalo out west. I have eaten the abdomen of lemon ants in Australia .. not bad .. if you are in the bush and have nothing else .. it beats starving .. (I was never starving in Oz )
I can't think of anything else too exotic.
Oh I have had escargo - snails - They didn't jive with my digestive tract too well though

I am a Scot, so you gotta know Haggis is pretty strange. One of my uncles made it and called it a "little cow". Ewe! Cooks.com - Recipe - A Scottish Haggis Dish
On the good side, I've had Flying Fish, Land Crab legs, Bear sausage, conch, mussels, oysters, squid, and last but not least, pickled balona, pickled pigs feet, pickled eggs. Oh, and Sport Peppers!

Land crabs are something they have in St. Lucia. Not sure which is worse, those or haggis! Pickled bologna (pronounced baloney) is available in most major food stores and to die for (in my opinion). You can just imagine the Cholesterol accumulating around your heart as you eat it I try to keep it to special occasions like Christmas. Now that's coming up, right Oh, yeah, and pickled mushrooms from Sam's Club are great too.

The weirdest thing would be BBQ pig eyes for me. I have some relatives from Samoa. When I was a girl I remember them roasting the whole pig in the backyard at parties. The person who got to eat the eyes was considered lucky, hehe As I recall they explode in your mouth like a cherry tomato.
I ate some funky plants and things when I lived in Hawaii too, but never thought to ask what they were.
Other then that..my food eating has been pretty tame!
