Pizza Dough
Does anyone have a real good pizza dough recipe? One that rises when been cooked.

This is what I use for one ten to twelve inch pizza.
1 package yeast
3/4 cup warm water
1 tbs. sugar
1tsp.salt
1 1/2 cup bread flour
1tbs. olive oil
Mix the yeast and sugar in the water, and let stand untill foamy, about 10 minutes. Add the salt and olive oil, and then flour and mix until it gathers together. Knead, I use a mixer, for about five minutes, until it forms a firm smooth dough. You may have to use a bit more, or less flour, depending on humidity, temperature, etc. Put in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a fairly warm spot till doubled. Punch down, and let it rise one more time. To me, the most important thing is fairly slow rises. This helps to develope the full flavor of the yeast and flour. Roll out fairly thin, top with sauce, and whatever toppings you like, and bake in a pre heated 450 degree oven till the top is bubbly, and the crust browned. I use a pizza stone, but you can use a round pizza pan.

I have a good recipe too, that I found written on the back of a pack of 'super active' yeast for bread. It makes the most yummy crust, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Well worth the effort of kneading the dough and letting it rise. Great, now I'm drooling for a pizza!

My not be the Best one but its Fast and Easy
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- 1 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C
DIRECTIONS
- Combine flour, salt, sugar, and yeast in a large bowl. Mix in oil and warm water. Spread out on a large pizza pan. Top as desired.
- Bake at 375 degrees C (190 degrees C) for 20 to 25 minutes.
If you allow it rest it will develop a better taste

...but being lazy today I'm taking the easy way out and picked up dough from our favorite pizzeria

Sure, I just have to convert the amounts from metric to US units. It's pretty much the same as the recipe listed here already.
