Ive noticed just recently that Aldi are selling frozen ones and I think McCains do a version too. Both are good.

I make Bubble and Squeak EVERY week! But I dry fry all the veggies until crispy (there's a bit of oil from the cut up roast potatoes and parsnips) and then fry my eggs separately and place on top. (Sometimes it's quail's eggs

) I made it today actually, pots, parsnips, sweet pots, carrots, green beans, zucchini, broccoli, cauliflower. My other half pours gravy over his, over the fried eggs!!
I really don't like any of the hash browns I've tried at places like McDonalds, I guess the 'tots' are much nicer than them!
I'm going to give the OP's recipe a try next week with my mash variation - I'll let you know how it goes.
