Coelogyne Usitana Sibling semi hydro?

Hello everyone!

I'm quite a beginner and I am getting my first ever sibling.
It is a coelogyne usitana, orchid that I am completely in love with.
I wanted to ask you about the substrate to put it in. In my understanding this orchid needs a moist substrate and siblings are usually put in sphagnum moss. The thing is, I am changing most of my orchids to semi hydro and that would make sense to me due to the requirements of the orchid. But, I don't know if siblings do not stand this technique.

Anybody tried it? ideas?
